| Roy Coston |
|
| Lead guitarist Roy Coston is the man who makes LoveBone hard.
The well known veteran of the Central New York rock scene, he first appeared on the ARDENT demo "Guilty as Charged" and toured extensively with the group in the mid 80's. He was then featured on the New Renaissance compilation "Lady Killers Volume II".
On their 1986 album "Nothing Exceeds Like Excess", by the internationally respected band RAVEN, Roy provided backing vocals on four songs. He traveled the East Coast with RAVEN, serving as a Guitar Technician for the band.
As the 80's came to a close, Roy joined DC STRUT as they emerged as a major regional force featuring a sleaze, hard rock attitude. "STRUT" was short lived, but received major label attention, and magazine, fanzine, and video interest.
Roy then formed FOUR LARGE MEN. Their independent release, "F.L.M.", reached several landmarks. This includes Perris Records, "Volume 1", and Iron Man Records, "The Best of the Unsigned Volume 1". Unfortunately, F.L.M.'s second release "Its a Small World", never got to see the light of day. The band worked with John Gallagher of RAVEN, David DeFeis of VIRGIN STEELE, and Todd Hobin.
Roy has attended several seminars at the Foundations Forum in Los Angeles, CA and Empire Music conference in Rochester, NY dating back to 1989 right up to the present. Roy has also held guitar clinics at Oneida Music and Canton College. Roy has shared the stage with many bands over the years, including Blue Oyster Cult, Saraya, Raven, Brighton Rock, Orleans, Ice Water Mansion, New York Flyers, Poison Dollys, David De Feis of Virgin Steele and Benny Mardones.

Chuck's powerful vocals and heavy bass help to define LoveBone's unique sound. Chuck started his professional career as a bass player with NIGHTSHADE and left to form his own band BREWSED BANDIT. Here he added lead vocals to his resume ... along with playing the bass. The band soon went under the management of Bob Acquaviva and changed their name to BANDIT. The band recorded several original songs for the ICE PRODUCTIONS label and showcased in New York City for several record companies. BANDIT opened for several national recording artists including; LA GUNS, WARRIOR SOUL, ENUFF Z'NUFF, CIRCUS OF POWER, TUFF, XYZ, WAR BABIES, SLEAZE BEEZE, and BENNY MARDONES. PIRANHA BROTHERS PRODUCTIONS soon took interest in the band but nothing ever materialized due to the breakup of the band. A few years later, Chuck formed another band called MADDOG where he sang lead vocals and played the bass once again. MADDOG played several area shows and also took to the road for a span of three years. Now, six years later ... he adds his vast talent to LOVEBONE! Chuck is back - singing, playing bass, writing new material, and playing clubs once again!
