I have been finding over the last couple of years since I found out what Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) was. I had always thought that mental illness was a piss poor way to get out of things, but I have found I was dead wrong. Things like depression, and OCD are very real. In my first book; Id Laberynth:Writings, Mentality, Recovery, I address the things I had gone through over the years; a lot of the things that inexplicably bothered and disrupted my life.
Due to trying to work, and bad weather, I haven't been able to see my counselor, and I am finding a new onslaught of things that just don't make sense going on in the world. Here is a small list of the things I just can't get out of my head no matter how hard I try. Some might just say that I'm simply obsessing; I think that that nails it on the head.
As with most people I believe that my reasoning is right and the rest of the world is f**ked up, but the more I look at things, I am finding that my opinion isn't the only one. There are tons of people out there who share the same views. I am happy though, that my views do go along with the majority. Below are a list of things that I had been obsessing about; that the rest of the country share as well. Some of this list goes along with the Andy Rooney article.
- Why is this country so obsessed with whores, and sluts for entertainers?
- What is the big deal about the word nigger; it's a freakin' word, and holds no merit. Go walking down any inner-city street, and listen to how many blacks say things like; "Hey, nigger what's up?" "...niggers be doing things like that.". That is all you hear is nigger this and nigger that; so big-f--king deal if a white person uses the word. Doesn't it seem strange that only black people can use the word NIGGER!!!!
- Drugs: The human body matabulates different drugs at different speeds. For example; crack, and cocaine only stay in the system for a few days. Marijuana stays in the system for around a month. So, if you're a pot head you might not pass a drug test; either getting you fired, inhibiting rehabilitation, or not getting you hired. But if you are a crack head you got it made. your system will be clear in a day or two. So the bottom line is, if your going to be an addict you can get away with it as a crack head, but not as a pot head. Now, what I mean is following example. I have a couple of crack-head freinds who ended up in an out-patient clinic for their trouble. They can't go to pot (the more harmless drug - see next article) but they can continue to use their crack right throguh theropy.
- More Drugs: Which is worse, or shall I say the lesser of the evils. A recreational pothead, or a f--cked up crack head. think of the things people do while under the influence, and it happens more often than you think. If someone is going to drive while impaired, what would you have them impared with. OUt of pot, booze, crack, cocain, LSD, extasy; which would you have someone be under the influence of. I'll bet that 90% of you who read this will say pot. If I were to go over everyone I have talked to over the years, and apply that to society well over half the country smokes pot.
- Why is the left so right, when the right is more right. Figure that one out. I am willing to bet that well over half this country believe that homosexuality is WRONG!!!, but the 2% of our society (Fags, and Dykes) so protected. Why are we protecting people who are clearly doing wrong!!!
