About the Author
Marti Harris grew up on the East coast. Most of her life was spent in Vermont, then nine years in New Hampshire before moving to the West coast. She now resides in Washington State, where she has lived for sixteen years. She has been married for fifteen years and has five children.
Marti has been writing poetry since grade school, then short stories since the ninth grade as well. She uses life experiences, her love of cooking/ baking, love of animals, nature, and many other interests in her books. Often, bits and pieces of conversations and people-watching spark ideas for other books. For the most part; she has always lived in rural to slightly isolated, country areas. These have been incorporated in her books also.

About the Book
Bobbi Wheeler had a special gift. This gift was her ability to see into a person’s immediate future through touch. Bobbi didn’t always consider her ability to be a gift however. An unexpected touch of a stranger could bring the knowledge of what would happen to that person in the form of a dream-like state. Rarely did she see anything other than some tragic event, often the person’s death. Unable to help, she could only helplessly watch the events unfold, seeing all of the grisly details, until the dream was over.
Lance Wolfe is the man Bobbi is in love with. He is also in love with her. However, he is consumed with depression over his wife’s death five years previously, then guilt for feeling he is betraying her memory by feeling anything for Bobbi. Unfortunately, Bobbi can’t help him overcome these feelings. She can only wait and hope. Lance is the only one who can cross that bridge, and it must be done alone.
While spending a weekend with Lance, Bobbi is accidentally touched by a man at a fair they had gone to. Instead of seeing what would happen to him, she saw what he was going to do in the near future. He was planning a murder, searching for his next victim!
Bobbi soon discovers the murderer has psychic abilities also. He is aware of her presence and tries to mentally impose death on her. She fights off his mental attacks, while trying to figure out who he is. Just when she’s sure she knows...she finds out how dead wrong she really is!
Presently the author is working on another romance, DOUBLE LIVES, involving a writer, an actor, and the obstacles from their lives they have to overcome to be together.
